Dear Jeffrey, this was utterly mesmerising, thank you. As a long-time Liza fan, it’s easy to forget those early thrills I experienced when I considered her a genius. As the years pass, perhaps we all (Liza included) get a bit cynical and loose something. This video has made me feel something I haven’t in years. I’ve heard some audio bootlegs of her performing this as part of her 90s repertoire, but getting to SEE it (thanks to you 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻) has been an incredibly magical experience. Though I can appreciate her Liza’s ‘At The Palace’ era vocals… it really is wonderful seeing her flesh-out this song in an earlier era, with a vocal bigger range and a steadier focus. Although her voice had started to get huskier 1989 onwards, I still consider the Radio City era vocals sublime - and here she is the full package - and weaves magic. I’m surprised other fans haven’t piled in to thank you. This is rare and you are wonderful and so generous to share this with the fan community, preserving her legacy.

Thank you for uploading the APLA videos of Elton John and Liza. I loved it, though it was bitter sweet to watch, being reminded of a lost generation. On a side note I believe APLA also honored Streisand. At that time she had not returned to the concert stage yet (New Years Eve 1993/1994). The only opportunity to see her sing live is when she did an occasional benefit, and rarely were they televised This is why her live performance for APLA is so rare and exciting and I believe would be well received.
